      The valley of flowers is a beautiful destination in Uttarakhand state, India. One of the best place to visit once in our life. The valley of flowers is a hangout which drizzles celestial beauty at its epitome. Valley of flowers is an Indian National Park, located in North Chamoli, and is known for its meadows of endemic Alpine flowers and the veriety of Flora. This richly diverse area is also home to rare and endangered animal's including the Asiatic Black bear, snow leopard, musk deer, brown bear, red fox and blue sheep. Way to valley of flowers

          The beautiful valley, in uttarakhand also very famous for the extraordinary natural beauty. By air, the nearest airport in Jolly Gramt, Dehradun is more than 290 km away form the valley. By train, the nearest railway station is in Rishikesh. It is also 276 kilo meter away from the valley. The closest road way to flowers valley is Govind ghat.

About the valley of flowers

               
            This is not to say that anything in the himalaya will feel like miracle. The beauty of this place is at its peak. Actually valley of flowers is a national park including flowers, animals, birds, biosphere reserve etc..  But this place mostly famous for the veriety type of flowers. At 3352 to 3658 meters above sea level, the gentle landscape of the valley of flowers national park compliment the rugged mountain wilderness of Nanda Devi national park to the east.

             In 1982, it was considered a national park. Frank S Smith and Hordesworth, two English mountaineers. Smith and Hordesworth arrived here by chance in 1931. They introduced this rare beauty to the outside world.The myth is famous. This is the spot where Hanuman's dead woman(mrithasanjeevani) came. Local people visit this valley ancient times. But the vally become famous after the arrived of English people.

             Saussurea obvallatta is the very rare flower in the word that we can see here. And it was the official national flower of uttarakhand. Blue Poppy, Cobra Lily, Himalayan Gigantic Balsem , Large bell flower and many variety exquisite blossoms we can see here.This is the tomb of British botanist Margaret Legga. She came here for studying about the flowers and died here.
