We know that Rajasthan is the biggest state in India. There is many places to visit in this state. Jaipur is one of the place. The heritage city Jaipur is called as 'PINK CITY'. A city of coloures and fairy tale, Jaipur enthralls with the splendor of a majestic past. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It evokes the Royal family that ones ruled the region in 1727, founded what is know called the old city or pink city for its building colour. In this city there is many tourist destinations. WAY TO JAIPUR

     

             Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. All travelling ways are very useful to getting there. By air, Jaipur airport is 12 kilo meter away from the city. By train, Jaipur railway station also very near to the city. And by road, Jaipur is linked with all the major cities of India through the network of National highways 8,11 and 12. There is also a very good bus service between Jaipur and Delhi provided but Rajasthan state rtc. 

ABOUT PINK CITY, JAIPUR

            

           Palaces and forts are a part of the glorious monument of the princely state of Rajasthan.  Speaking of Jaipur, you should start with Hawa Mahal. It is a place for women's in the palace. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799 to give the royal palace a taste of the city without the eyes of others.  The imagination of this place was that of the architect Uz Tad Lalchand.Nagarhat  Fort is located at a distance of 14 km from Hawa Mahal in the Jaipur City. One can reach the fort on the Aravalli Hill. Jaipur shines brightly around the hilltop. 

          The Amber Fort is located at a distance of 11 km from Jaipur. The royal palace included in the legacy of UNESCO. Here you will find precious stones and mirror monumets. City Palace was the royal palace in the north of the city. It is a complex of two palaces, namely, Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal.Jantar Mantar is a World Heritage Site located near the City Palace. Jantar Mantar was founded by Jaising II, the founder of the city of Jaipur. 

           

           Jal Mahal in Mansagar lake is one of the most visited sights of Jaipur. Travelers are allowed to enjoy the place Jal Mahal on the banks of the Manasagar Lake. Jal Mahal is the single highest point of water level in sight. But there are four floors beneath the lake. Archaeologists have always been fascinated with its construction. And this beautiful jal mahal is a very beautiful attraction of the city. 

         

           Worlds largest solar clock is here. The name of the clock is Samrat machine. There is many museums in this city.  Central museum is one of them. Jaighat fort, Birla temple, Geythor, Sisodiya Rani Palace, Vidhya dhar Garden, Central Park etc. .There is many destination to visit here. There is a reason behind the name pink city. In 1876, the Prince of wells visit Jaipur, in that time city colored by pink for guest honor.
